We are looking for a Personal Support Companion to join our team at Thistle Foundation. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with a young gentleman in his home in Thornton, Fife, providing essential support to ensure his independence and well-being.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of person-centred practice, excellent communication skills, and be flexible and responsive. A driving licence is essential for this role, as the individual enjoys visiting Edinburgh/Glasgow and hopes to travel further afield in the future.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits, including a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, contributory pension scheme, 30 days of annual leave (increasing by one day per year up to 35 days), free gym membership, and access to our Health Plan.

In addition to your salary, you will also have the opportunity to develop your skills through sector-leading training courses and supportive mentorship. You will undertake enhanced learning in person-centred practice, leadership skills, IT, and other bespoke training courses, and have the chance to achieve SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
