About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Medicine Specialist to join our team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to children and neonates in our busy paediatric unit.
The successful candidate will assume a general paediatric and neonatal role within the Paediatrics specialty, working closely with junior doctors and medical students to ensure the provision of a first-class clinical service. They will also participate in consultant-led ward rounds, attend clinics, and perform administrative duties as required for the efficient running of the service.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide effective leadership to junior doctors and medical students, ensuring they receive the necessary support and guidance to deliver exceptional patient care.
- To undertake all work in accordance with the Trust's procedures and policies, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- To conduct clinical practice in accordance with contractual requirements within the parameters of the Trust's and Operational Group's services plans.
- To contribute to the programme of post-graduate activities, medical students, and nursing staff within the department, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.

We offer a competitive salary range of £74,551 - £91,068 per annum, depending on experience. The position is supported by a junior full shift rota, providing opportunities for career growth and professional development. Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Full registration with the GMC at time of appointment.
- Evidence of achievement of ST3 (or its equivalent) competences in Paediatrics at time of application.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English.
