Academic Support Specialist

**About the Role**
TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a mainstream Secondary school based in Willenhall. As an Academic Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all pre-set work is completed to a high standard, behaviour in the classroom is well-managed, and additional help is provided with classroom tasks when needed.
This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are proactive, able to think on their feet, and have excellent communication skills. You will work closely with the senior leadership team, who will provide excellent support and create a positive and encouraging environment.
The successful candidate will benefit from market leading rates of pay, ranging from £100-£120 per day, depending on experience and qualifications. With TeacherActive's Guaranteed Payment Scheme, you can trust that your hard work will be rewarded fairly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring students complete pre-set work to a high standard
- Managing behaviour in the classroom effectively
- Providing additional help with classroom tasks as needed
