Job Summary

Make a Positive Impact on Young People's Lives

Via Westminster Drug Project is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Peripatetic Case Worker to join our New Beginnings service in Cheshire West and Chester.

This rewarding role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to provide effective care and support to young people with drug and alcohol issues.

As a Peripatetic Case Worker, you will undertake early-intervention and prevention work in various youth settings, enabling young people to develop healthy boundaries, emotional resilience, and self-esteem.

You will also provide harm reduction prevention advice, guidance, and education, as well as support young people to access education, employment, health, wellbeing, and recovery activities.

This role requires significant travel and peripatetic outreach, including evening work in fixed youth provision settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake early-intervention and prevention work in various youth settings.
  • Enable young people to develop healthy boundaries, emotional resilience, and self-esteem.
  • Provide harm reduction prevention advice, guidance, and education.
  • Support young people to access education, employment, health, wellbeing, and recovery activities.
  • Work alongside the Early Help and Prevention Service in Cheshire West and Chester.

Requirements:

As a Peripatetic Case Worker, you will need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and build strong relationships with young people, families, and other stakeholders.
