Make a Positive Impact on Young People's Lives
Via Westminster Drug Project is seeking a skilled and compassionate Peripatetic Case Worker to join our New Beginnings service in Cheshire West and Chester.
This rewarding role involves working with a motivated and supportive team to provide effective care and support to young people with drug and alcohol issues.
As a Peripatetic Case Worker, you will undertake early-intervention and prevention work in various youth settings, including fixed youth provision settings in the evening.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking early-intervention and prevention work to prevent the progression of substance misuse and associated anti-social and risk-taking behaviour.
- Enabling young people to develop healthy boundaries, emotional resilience, and build self-esteem.
- Providing harm reduction prevention advice, guidance, and education.
- Enabling people to access education, employment, health, wellbeing, and recovery activities.
- Working alongside the Early Help and Prevention Service in Cheshire West and Chester.
The successful candidate will be expected to work across our three service hubs, the wider North-West, and occasionally travel to our head office in London.
