Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Peripatetic Case Worker to join our team at Via Westminster Drug Project. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring effective care planning and management for young people who use our services.

The Role

This rewarding position involves working with a motivated and supportive team to provide early-intervention and prevention work in various youth settings. You will enable young people to develop healthy boundaries, emotional resilience, and self-esteem, while providing harm reduction prevention advice, guidance, and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake early-intervention and prevention work in youth settings to prevent substance misuse and associated anti-social behavior.
  • Enable young people to access education, employment, health, wellbeing, and recovery activities.
  • Work alongside the Early Help and Prevention Service in Cheshire West and Chester.
  • Support the delivery of excellent drug and alcohol services to young people and their significant others.
Requirements

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people. You will need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Appointment to this post is subject to satisfactory completion of our safeguarding checks, including DBS.
