Job Summary

Make a Difference in Young People's Lives

Via Westminster Drug Project is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Peripatetic Case Worker to join our New Beginnings service in Cheshire West and Chester. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with young people who use our services, providing early-intervention and prevention work to prevent substance misuse and associated anti-social behavior.

The Role

You will undertake outreach work in various youth settings, including fixed youth provision settings in the evening. Your primary goal will be to enable young people to develop healthy boundaries, emotional resilience, and self-esteem, providing harm reduction prevention advice, guidance, and education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake early-intervention and prevention work in youth settings to prevent substance misuse and associated anti-social behavior.
  • Enable young people to develop healthy boundaries, emotional resilience, and self-esteem.
  • Provide harm reduction prevention advice, guidance, and education.
  • Work alongside the Early Help and Prevention Service in Cheshire West and Chester.
  • Support the delivery of excellent drug and alcohol services to young people and their significant others.
