Care Assistant for Children and Young People

Job RoleAs a Children's Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing and development of children and young people in care. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing emotional support and guidance to children and young adults
- Assisting with daily routines and activities
- Organizing and facilitating social activities
- Transporting children and young adults to appointments and activities
- Working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to implement safe practice
- Contributing to the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working with children and young adults in a care setting
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Child and Young People's Workforce (CYP) is desirable
- Knowledge of one or more of the following areas: EBD, SEMH, CSE, or SEN/SEND
- An enhanced DBS check, which can be applied for upon registration
- A Full UK Driving License (desirable)
