Job Role: Children's Support WorkerAs a Children's Support Worker with Nurseplus, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young adults in care, putting their needs and well-being at the forefront of everything you do.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children and young adults in all aspects of their lives, including educational pursuits, hobbies, and activities
- Developing and contributing to positive outcomes that help shape the future of children and young people
- Working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to implement safe practice and promote the wellbeing of children and young adults
- Managing complex behaviors and crisis intervention
- Contributing to care plans and risk assessments, reviews, and implementation
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience working within a child and/or young adult setting
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Child & Young People's Workforce (CYP) is desirable
- Knowledge in one of the following areas: EBD, SEMH, CSE, or SEN/SEND
- An enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration
- A Full UK Driving License (desirable)
