Job Role: Children's Support WorkerAs a Children's Support Worker with Nurseplus, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young adults in care. Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Support and safeguard the wellbeing of children and young people
- Assist with daily routines, including community and educational settings
- Organize and facilitate social activities
- Transportation
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to implement safe practice
- Offer high levels of supervision and support
- Work in accordance with Ofsted and CQC regulations
- Manage complex behaviors and crisis intervention
- Contribute to the young person's care plans and risk assessments, reviews, and implementation
- Previous experience working in a child and/or young adult setting
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Child & Young People's Workforce (CYP) is desirable
- All candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations
- Knowledge in one of the following areas: EBD, SEMH, CSE, or SEN/SEND
- An enhanced DBS, which can be applied for upon registration (cost of which £45.40, refunded after a set period of work)
- A Full UK Driving License (desirable)
