The Role: Managing Director

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Managing Director to lead our growth and operations, transitioning the company from startup to scale-up and establishing a strong presence in the UK market and abroad.

This pivotal role involves overseeing cross-functional teams, ensuring high levels of compliance, and driving business growth towards ambitious targets. The ideal candidate should have experience managing companies in the payroll, recruitment, or financial services sector.

Main Responsibilities
  • Shape and execute the company's long-term strategy, focusing on UK growth and international expansion, while generating revenue.
  • Provide leadership across all departments, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Ensure operational alignment with business goals, working closely with the board.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Managing Director, CEO, or senior executive in payroll, recruitment, HR, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of payroll management.
  • Demonstrated track record of growing businesses, meeting revenue targets, and expanding operations internationally.
  • Excellent leadership skills, including team building, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets and financial forecasting.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a comprehensive health insurance plan, retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off.
