We are seeking a Climate Action Specialist to oversee our projects in London and southern region. This role involves taking the lead in creating a culture of best practice environmental performance and improving the sustainability of our projects while managing and reducing direct impact.
Key Responsibilities- Take the lead in managing and overseeing monitoring equipment, collecting, processing and interpreting data (e.g. water, dust, noise, waste)
- Manage onsite Environmental Site inspections, highlighting bad and good practice to relevant teams and Senior Management
- Implement and operate the Project Environmental Management System on site through checking and auditing
Significant experience with consulting engineers, civil engineering contractors or specialist environmental contractors is required. Broad knowledge of environmental design and works and impacts on 3rd Parties is essential. A Member of IEMA working towards chartered status is preferred.
