The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Field Application Specialist (FAS) in the UK. As an FAS, you will be working closely with our Account Managers across the South UK territory to provide technical and application support, instrument demonstrations, and sales expertise for our qPCR & ddPCR range of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting Account Managers in identifying leads and developing opportunities through meetings, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Providing post-sales support, including training, application support, and results interpretation and troubleshooting where required.
- Contributing to tender documents and exhibitions and seminars as necessary.
- Assisting in the development of useful market knowledge and providing strong solutions to customers.
Your Background
We are looking for an experienced Molecular Biologist with a strong background in qPCR/ddPCR and excellent sales skills. You must have a laboratory background in Molecular Biology and a proven ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
A strong scientific knowledge in these specialist areas is essential, as well as good coaching skills, flexibility, and a collaborative approach. You must also possess a background in Life Science and detailed planning and organization skills.
What We Offer
Bio-Rad offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension matched up to 8%, private health and dental insurance, life insurance and income protection, and 25 days holiday plus an extra day off on your birthday.
