About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to provide support, guidance, and training to partners and practitioners in delivering Early Help intervention across Hertfordshire.
As a Community Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring families receive the right support at the right time from the right services. You will be responsible for identifying and signposting to other Early Help services available, being knowledgeable about referral pathways and processes, and providing 1:1 coaching and training around the Early Help Module System (EHM).
About You- You will have a sound knowledge and understanding of Families First Assessments and Early Help support in Hertfordshire.
- You will possess experience of Multi-agency working to deliver Early Help with the confidence to communicate across various levels.
- You will have experience of interacting and working with families, children, and young people, finding out what really matters to them.
- You will be outcome-focused with excellent attention to detail, using your experience in report writing to help identify needs and strengths which in turn will help to produce action plans from the supplied assessments.
- You will have experience in effective stakeholder engagement across a variety of services and agencies.
- You will have the ability to manage professional conflict and difficult conversations using your negotiation skills for effective partnership working and problem-solving.
- You will be self-motivated with the ability to manage conflicting priorities, understanding the importance of the roles others play in achieving a desired outcome.
- You will have excellent digital literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft.
- A competitive salary of £30,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
