We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Community Nursing Manager in Watford. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and management to a team of community nurses, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care to patients living in the community.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community nursing, with experience in managing a team and teaching others. A proven leadership ability and clinical skill at Senior Community Nursing level are essential. Knowledge of recent developments in NHS and Evidence-based practice is also required.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £43,000 per annum, plus benefits such as a car lease scheme, flexible working options, and training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management to a team of community nurses
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care to patients living in the community
  • Participate in the long-term management of patients within the locality
  • Support with sickness and absence management in line with policy

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Nurse
  • Mentor/Preceptor/998 or equivalent
  • Specialist Nursing Practice (District Nursing) Degree or will undertake training
  • Nurse Prescribing or will undertake training
  • Knowledge of NMC code of professional conduct
