Job Opportunity: SEN Tutor in Chelmsford

We are seeking experienced and dedicated professionals to provide flexible and rewarding support to children with ASD, ADHD, PDA, SEMH or PMLD at their homes or local centres.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop personalized learning plans and resources tailored to each student's needs.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment and manage challenging behaviour effectively.
  • Utilize skills to boost pupils' confidence and engagement.
  • Potential involvement in outdoor activities, such as nature exploration and environmental education, to promote holistic learning.
  • Familiarization with visual communication tools, as needed, to enhance student understanding.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEND students and knowledge of effective teaching strategies.
  • Valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS clearance.

Salary Information: The estimated salary range is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This figure is based on industry standards for SEN tutors in the UK, particularly in Essex.
