Job Description:

The Role

As an SEN Tutor, you will work closely with students in the Chelmsford area who have been out of education for a period. Your role involves delivering tailored tuition sessions to boost their confidence and attainment levels, enabling them to potentially return to further education.

We offer a comprehensive support network for our tutors, setting us apart from other agencies.

Position Details - SEN Tutor

  1. Location: Student's homes or local libraries
  2. Position: 1:1 SEN Tutor
  3. Hours: 3 hours/day, 5 days/week (during school hours, flexible start times)
  4. Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver individualised sessions based on the child's needs
  • BUILD A RAPPORT WITH THE CHILD
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working with SEN/SEMH and challenging behaviours
  • Able to deliver core subjects according to individual needs
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
