1st Staff Limited is a leading alternative provider of specialist staff working nationwide with students aged 4-25 who require education and therapeutic support.

We are seeking SEN Tutors to work with students in the Chelmsford area who have been missing in education. As an SEN Tutor, you will deliver tuition sessions to help these students regain confidence and achieve qualifications needed to return to further education.

Position Details

  • Location: Student's homes or local libraries
  • Position: 1:1 SEN Tutor
  • Hours: 3 hours/day, 5 days/week (flexible on start times)
  • Estimated Salary: £28 per hour

About the Role

  • Deliver individualised sessions based on each student's needs
  • Build a rapport with students and provide a support network

Requirements

  • Experience working with SEN/SEMH and challenging behaviours
  • Ability to deliver core subjects according to individual needs
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
