Job Title: SEN Tuition Specialist

We are seeking an experienced SEN Tuition Specialist to provide high-quality individualized tuition to children with various Special Educational Needs or Behavioural Needs in the Chelmsford area.

The successful candidate will create and deliver tailored lessons to bridge learning gaps, enhance engagement, and improve attainment levels. With most students having been out of education for some time, it is essential to build their confidence and self-esteem.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and implement 1:1 lessons to meet the unique needs of each student, focusing on bridging learning gaps and enhancing engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly, ensuring effective learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure that all students receive the best possible support and achieve their full potential.
About You
  • You should hold QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS, or equivalent qualifications, as well as at least 6 months of experience working in a UK school.
  • You should have up-to-date Safeguarding training and experience working with SEN or similar.

  • Location: Chelmsford

  • Rate of pay: £25 per hour through our umbrella company, making this a competitive hourly rate in the region.
