Academic Learning Specialist

Remedy Tutors is a reputable agency seeking SEN experienced tutors and teachers who value flexibility and want to make a positive impact in the lives of children with Special Education Needs. As an SEN tutor, you will be working with students who require support with ASD, ADHD, PDA, SEMH, or PMLD at their homes or a local centre.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement personalized lessons tailored to each student's needs, which may include core subjects or life skills.
- Foster a supportive environment that helps raise pupils' confidence and self-esteem.
- Manage challenging behaviour while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Potentially engage in outdoor activities that promote learning and exploration.
You will be working as a self-employed tutor, and our dedicated team at Remedy will refer suitable work to you. This could be for any year group on a 1-2-1 basis, either after school or during the daytime for students who are currently being home-schooled.
Requirements:- Experience working with SEND students
- A valid enhanced child workforce DBS
