Learning Support Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Specialist to join our inclusive and supportive school community in Chelmsford, Essex.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience supporting children in KS2, preferably within a school setting.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students across Key Stage 2, helping them engage with the curriculum, and providing one-to-one or small group interventions where necessary.
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
As a Learning Support Specialist, you will work closely with the class teacher and other staff to implement learning strategies and ensure students are supported in their academic journey. Your role will also include assisting in creating a nurturing environment that promotes positive behaviour and social development.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience supporting children in KS2 required
- Passionate about helping students in Years 3-6 achieve their full potential
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with children
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
