Academic Education Specialist

**Role Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced Academic Education Specialist to join our team at Austin Fraser. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to students who do not attend mainstream education due to special educational needs or risk of permanent exclusion.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Inspiring and motivating students to achieve their academic goals through personalized learning plans and regular progress monitoring.
- BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS with students and their families through clear communication, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching.
- Adapting teaching methods to suit the unique learning styles and needs of each student, including those with SEND.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with diverse age groups.
- QTS (QTLS), PGCE, or Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Maths, or related field.
- Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs and access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- A competitive salary and flexible working hours, allowing you to work as self-employed or contracted through an umbrella company.
