Salary: £25 per hour, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  2. Create individualised lesson plans to cater to the specific learning requirements of each student
  3. Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  4. Provide regular feedback to students and their parents/guardians on academic performance
  5. Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student learning
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialist knowledge in teaching English and Maths to students with SEN
  • Experience working with Key Stage 3 students
Education and Experience
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths to students with SEN
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • Additional certifications in SEN teaching or related areas
  • Experience in using assistive technology in the classroom
Working Conditions
  • Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling
  • Work primarily in an educational setting (local library, school or learners home)
  • Potential for remote tutoring sessions
