We are seeking a dedicated KS3 SEND Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our educational staff, you will deliver high-quality English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your expertise in creating individualized lesson plans and assessing student progress will be invaluable in ensuring our students receive the support they need to thrive.

About the Role

This part-time position offers the opportunity to work primarily in an educational setting, such as a local library, school or learner's home. You will collaborate with other educators and support staff to provide a comprehensive approach to student learning. With a strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and methodologies, you will adapt your teaching techniques to meet the diverse needs of our students.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and specialist knowledge in teaching English and Maths to students with SEN. A minimum of two years' experience in teaching English and Maths to students with SEN is also required. Additional certifications in SEN teaching or related areas are highly desirable.

Benefits

We offer part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling, as well as potential remote tutoring sessions. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please note that this advert is for a temporary position, although the option to make it permanent may become available at a later date.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is £20 - £30 per hour. This rate reflects the level of experience and qualifications required for the role.
