Teaching Assistant for SEND Children

We are recruiting a highly motivated and empathetic Teaching Assistant for SEND Children to join our team in Chelmsford. In this role, you will work closely with students who require additional support due to special educational needs (SEN) or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
About the RoleYou will provide one-to-one educational support to students in KS3, focusing on English, Maths, and Science. Our ideal candidate will have experience working with children who require additional support, particularly those with SEN or SEMH needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement tailored educational plans that cater to individual learning needs
- Foster strong relationships with students and their families
- Monitor and record student progress and engagement
- Qualified teaching assistant or tutor with experience in SEN or SEMH
- Ability to plan and deliver effective educational sessions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A competitive hourly rate of up to £30 p/h
