**Secondary Teaching Assistant Role**

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join our team in Chelmsford. As a key member of staff, you will work closely with teachers to provide one-on-one or group support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

About the Role:

In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing tailored support to SEND students in a classroom setting or through one-on-one interventions. You will assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support students with emotional, social, and behavioural difficulties.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to SEND students in a classroom setting or through one-on-one interventions.
  • Assist in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support students with emotional, social, and behavioral difficulties.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each student.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet individual student needs.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
