Positive Behaviour Support Assistant

GSL Education is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for behaviour support to join our team. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a key role in fostering positive behaviour and creating a supportive atmosphere for students. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement behaviour support plans and contribute to the development of school-wide behaviour initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide targeted support to students to address challenging behaviour.
- To implement and monitor individual behaviour support plans.
- To collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to address specific needs.
- To foster positive relationships with students to encourage their social and emotional development.
- To contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide behaviour initiatives.
- To provide feedback to teachers and parents on the progress of behaviour support plans.
