Job Title: Director, Research Project Manager

Bicycle Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing innovative medicines for underserved diseases. As a Research Project Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the planning and execution of our research projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery of our pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to achieve project objectives.
  • Collaborate with Research Project Leaders to prioritize key program objectives, make go/no-go decisions, and review data based on key milestones.
  • Provide support to Project Leaders on project management and the use of project management tools.
  • Contribute to the development of project management best practices within the company.
Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Lead project teams to foster collaboration, high performance, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Drive the planning and execution of integrated project plans to ensure project objectives and critical milestones are met to high quality, on time, and within scope and budget.
  • Align project plans and interdependencies with key stakeholders across nonclinical, translational, clinical, regulatory, CMC, medical affairs, and commercial.
  • Chair project team meetings and present project plans, progress, risks, and issues to functional and senior management and governance boards.

Qualifications:
  • Educated in life sciences, engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in project management within the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of the drug discovery and development process, preferably in oncology, from early discovery phase to IND filing.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving the execution of complex projects.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience implementing tools and processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
