Job Title: Senior Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team at Assystem GmbH. As a Senior Planner, you will play a key role in leading the evaluation of project time for relevant programmes of works and correlating cost and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop programme structures, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), calendars, and dates in alignment with Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) and Employer's data dictionary.
  • Contribute to developing cost and resource-loaded programmes during submission in accordance with required delivery milestones.
  • Ensure programmes meet all required access dates, milestones, and key dates in compliance with Employer's Planning requirements, contract data, and works information.
  • Assess programme risks and programme risk analysis, including development and implementation of mitigation measures.
  • Progress monitoring and regular updating of programmes, including forecasting potential problem areas and proposing mitigation measures.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and other work packages to communicate agreed construction planning approach and share best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Appraise, review, and assess supply chain programmes and include them in main programme as required.
  • Maintain short and medium-term programmes to ensure main programme objectives are met.
  • Support in 'what-if' scenario planning, providing integrated solutions to Project conflicts and recoveries.
  • Support Planning Manager in ad-hoc business requirements as needed.
  • Support Planning Manager in leading Planners, setting objectives, reviewing performance, and anticipating selection and promotion decisions to ensure Planning Engineers have necessary skills and understanding to deliver team's objectives.
  • Capture, implement, and share best practice Project Planning policies, processes, and procedures across business to drive continuous improvement, and provide specialist advice where required.
Business Development:
  • Actively identify opportunities to develop Assystem's network and services.
  • Attend/participate in Assystem's knowledge sharing and networking events.
  • Provide market research to sector leads.
  • Run Project Controls Maturity Assessments.
