Austin Fraser is seeking a dedicated Employment Support Professional to help adults with learning disabilities achieve real work outcomes through skills development, training, volunteering, and work experience placements.

This rewarding position offers a competitive salary of £25,750 per annum, plus a generous benefits package.

The Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Local Authority's Transitions & Learning Disability teams to identify Clients in receipt of Day Services for the Working Journey's Programme.

You will work closely with Job Centre Plus, the National Careers Services, Schools/Colleges, and local employers to access suitable work-experience and employment opportunities.

  • Liaising with Local Authorities to identify clients requiring support;
  • Collaborating with Job Centre Plus to access employment opportunities;
  • Working with schools and colleges to secure work-experience placements;
  • Advising on work placements and employment opportunities;
  • Providing pre-employment and retention support for hosting employers.

This role will involve frequent travel across our area of operations and to each of our four hubs. A current UK driving licence and a car are required (no transportation of clients involved).
