Human Resources Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to provide exceptional administrative support to all staff within the Centre for Cardiovascular Sciences at The University of Edinburgh.
As a key member of our team, you will work to a high degree of independence, using your comprehensive knowledge to deliver accurate and appropriate action, advice and guidance on HR/staffing transactions and procedures.
You will be the first point of contact for all People & Money system (Oracle) related queries, providing specialist technical and troubleshooting advice and support to users.
This is a full-time position, and we are open to considering flexible working patterns and hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to staff within the Centre for Cardiovascular Sciences
- Deliver accurate and appropriate action, advice and guidance on HR/staffing transactions and procedures
- Provide specialist technical and troubleshooting advice and support to users on the People & Money system (Oracle)
- Work to a high degree of independence, using your comprehensive knowledge to deliver results
Requirements:
- HNC/HND or CIPD qualification, or experience relevant to the role
- Good understanding of HR policy and practice
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to explain complex issues in simple terms
- Experience of delivering to deadlines using strong organisational skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail and skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Sharepoint
