Job Description: As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the Testing and Commissioning of mechanical systems onboard ships.

  • Assume responsibility for routine tasks with minimal supervision in a high-risk environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of work activities as per policy, procedure, and regulation.
  • Represent the company at Factory Acceptance Tests, Contractors Sea Trials, and other outworking requirements.
  • Deliver assigned activities in line with company policy, procedures, and legislation.
  • Ensure the successful Testing and Commissioning of mechanical systems onboard ships.
  • Knowledge of mechanical system operation, including hydraulic, pressurized air and gas, domestic and chilled water, and tank testing.
  • Experience with commissioning complex systems and plants.
  • Familiarity with Mechanical Flushing, Pressure & Endurance Testing, and setting to work of systems.
  • Develop and issue Rip Out documentation to process, identifying safe isolations for ship's systems.
  • HNC in Mechanical Engineering is desirable.

Package Details: Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, plus additional benefits like pension scheme, annual leave allowance, and flexible working opportunities.
