We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Delta Hotels by Marriott. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for the overall success of our daily kitchen operations, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver high-quality food products and exceptional service.
- Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and storage to maintain efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute special events, banquets, and catering services.
- Train and develop kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and control kitchen expenses to maintain budgetary targets.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality food products and exceptional service.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
