About the Role

As a highly skilled Technical Tester Specialist for Telecom Services, you will be joining an exciting new software team that will be responsible for ensuring the quality of services and products provided by our client.

The Opportunity

Our client, a leading language service provider, has become one of the most successful companies in the country. They supply top-end translation and interpreting services throughout the private and public sector and are growing rapidly, aiming to double their tech team in the next year.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, using your skills and experience to influence new procedures and processes. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to take ownership in this environment and create strong relationships with stakeholders, alternate teams, and customer support.

About You

We are looking for a number of Test Engineers with specific domain experience within the telecom industry. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven & existing experience in telecom software testing - a background in testing on VoIP, Asterisk or SIP is essential.
  • Knowledge/Experience of automation and manual testing of telecoms or similar technologies
  • Knowledge/Experience of web-based testing.
  • Functional and Non-Functional testing
  • Experience with Python scripting/coding
  • Strong experience working with SQL databases and proven ability to understand complex queries
  • Experience with AWS/Azure would be a bonus.
Salary and Benefits

Based in South Manchester, our client operates a 4-day week onsite and offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
