Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Cygnet St Augustine's, a specialist high support inpatient rehabilitation service for men. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting our service users to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to support service users in achieving their goals
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify service users' needs and develop strategies to address them
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to service users
  • Provide training and education to service users and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy policies and procedures

Requirements
  • Registered Occupational Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience of working with individuals with mental health needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
