About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Cygnet Health Care, a leading provider of health and social care services in the UK.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to adults with mental health needs, with a focus on rehabilitation and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to promote independence and well-being
  • Provide occupational therapy interventions, including activities of daily living, cognitive training, and vocational skills
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with a degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working with adults with mental health needs, preferably in a rehabilitation setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
