Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to children and young people with mental health needs and/or neurodevelopmental difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and provide occupational therapy interventions to young people with mental health needs and/or neurodevelopmental difficulties.
- Develop positive liaison and information links with all professionals working within the specialist area of child and adolescent mental health.
- Be actively involved in the planning, development, and evaluation of occupational therapy service provision within this designated area.
- Review and evaluate the effectiveness of OT service using occupational-focused outcome measures.
- Contribute to the positive promotion of occupational therapy to others.
- Supervise various grades of OT and other staff, including students on placement.
- Take responsibility for own Continuous Professional Development.
- Uphold professional standards, ensuring high-standard and quality clinical care.
