Job Summary

We are seeking a newly qualified or current Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our team at Cygnet St Augustines in Stoke on Trent. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction under the supervision of a more senior Occupational Therapist. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, working closely with psychology, psychiatry, and nursing staff to provide high-quality care and support to our service users.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of individuals, providing tailored support and interventions to help them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction under the supervision of a more senior Occupational Therapist
  • Work closely with psychology, psychiatry, and nursing staff to provide high-quality care and support to our service users
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the needs of our service users
  • Contribute to the development of evidence-based practice and agreed occupational therapy pathways
  • Participate in service model development and utilise the expertise and support of our clinical lead occupational therapists

Requirements

The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS and reference check and an offer of employment will be subject to successful clearance.
