Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Cygnet St Augustines, a 32-bed specialist high support inpatient rehabilitation service for men. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to support individuals in achieving their goals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction, using evidence-based practice and agreed occupational therapy pathways.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Supervise and support junior staff, including student education and training.
  • Contribute to the development of occupational therapy services, including service model development and specialist interest groups.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Experience as an Occupational Therapist in a mental health setting.Strong assessment and treatment skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
