### Job Title: Business Support Officer

### Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Business Support Officer to join our team at Rochdale Council. As a Business Support Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and administrative support to our customers and stakeholders.

### Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

* Offer financial, contract, and procurement support to our teams, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of transactions.

* Provide administrative support to senior management, including preparing reports, managing diaries, and coordinating meetings.

* Act as a first point of contact for elected members and other stakeholders, providing information and support as required.

* Work collaboratively with management and peers to promote a culture of continuous service improvement, ensuring excellent service delivery to our customers.

### Requirements:

* Recent experience of working as an Administrator or Business Support Officer, ideally in a local authority or Housing Association.

* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal council IT systems.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.

* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
