Polaris Community, a leading provider of children's services, is seeking an experienced Residential Childcare Support Worker to join their team.

The successful candidate will have a passion for working with young people and be committed to providing high-quality care and support in our residential children's homes.

As a key member of the Polaris Community team, you will work closely with colleagues to provide individualized care packages for children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of young people
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with young people
  • Encouraging the development of individual interests and skills

We offer a competitive salary of £23,000-£28,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including sleep-in payments (£45 per shift), company pension, employee discount scheme, and refer-a-friend programme.

A desire to learn and develop new skills is essential, as we provide full training to achieve a Childcare Diploma Level 3. Experience of supporting vulnerable young people is desirable but not essential.
