About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our team at KM Education Recruitment Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment services to learners working towards their Level 5 Residential Childcare Diploma.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the development of skilled professionals in the residential childcare sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards their Level 5 Residential Childcare Diploma.
  • Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
  • Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners' needs.
Requirements
  • Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
  • Must hold a recognised Teaching qualification: PTLLS/AET or above.
  • Must hold a Level 5 in Residential Childcare.
  • Must have experience of delivering Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
  • Hold a minimum of 2 years' occupational competency as a Manager within a Children's Home.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
