Job Opportunity: Residential Childcare Assessor / Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Residential Childcare Assessor / Trainer. As a key member of our recruitment service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training and assessment services to learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships at Level 4 or 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assess and support learners in achieving their goals through efficient management of diaries and timely reviews.
  2. Provide effective coaching on Functional Skills Maths and English up to Level 2.
  3. Organise and maintain accurate learner progress documentation.
  4. Conduct video meetings and training sessions with learners remotely.

Requirements:

  • A recognised assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA, or TAQA) is essential for this role.
  • You must possess a teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
  • Delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare at Level 4 or 5 would be beneficial, but not necessary.
  • A strong background in Deputy Manager level or above within a Residential Childcare setting is required.
  • A minimum of a Level 3 in Residential Childcare is also necessary.
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle are crucial for field-based work.
  • Flexibility regarding travel is necessary to meet the demands of this position.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, permanent position that comes with an attractive salary package, including a salary range of £30,000 - £37,000 and an excellent bonus scheme up to an additional £10,000 OTE (dependent on qualifications and experience).
