Job Description:

As the leader of our residential childcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our children's home, ensuring that young people with learning disabilities receive high-quality care and support. Your primary goal will be to promote their independence and help them reach their full potential.

You will lead from the front, setting excellent expectations for staff and young people alike. This is an opportunity to model a service that reflects your own personality and practice methods, while consistently promoting the safety and well-being of each child. The right candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional care and developing a skilled and dedicated team.

This role involves managing 1-2 children with Learning Disabilities in a residential setting, engaging with children, building rapport, and leading a team of skilled staff. Key responsibilities include writing care plans, staff management and training, liaising with social workers and family members, understanding safeguarding processes, and keeping records of support. The ideal candidate will have a caring and open-minded nature, experience working within a residential children's setting, and meet Ofsted requirements.
