About the Role

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK-wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.

We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Childcare Assessor and Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training and assessment services to learners working towards their Level 5 Residential Childcare Diploma.

About You
  • You must hold a recognized Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
  • You must hold a recognized Teaching qualification: PTLLS/AET or above.
  • You must hold a Level 5 in Residential Childcare.
  • You have experience of delivering Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
  • You hold a minimum of 2 years occupational competency as a Manager within a Children's Home.
  • You have a full, clean UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards their Level 5 Residential Childcare Diplomas.
  • Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
  • Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
  • Organize and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise, and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners' needs.
