Job Title: Director of Human Resources

We are seeking an experienced and skilled HR Director to join our team at Hansel, a leading social care charity. Based in Kilmarnock, this is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £33,069 - £35,343 per annum.

About the Role

This is a pivotal opportunity for a talented HR professional to take on key responsibilities and drive positive change within our organization. The successful candidate will have significant experience in providing comprehensive HR advice and support, as well as employee relations case management, absence management, recruitment, and maintaining data and updating systems.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with a strong ability to apply sound judgment and identify and manage risk effectively. They will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and hold a minimum of Associate membership of the CIPD.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to senior stakeholders
  • Lead employee relations case management and conflict resolution
  • Develop and implement effective absence management strategies
  • Oversee recruitment processes to ensure high-quality hires
  • Maintain accurate data and update systems to inform organizational decision-making
