Salary

The salary for this role is £58,265 - £67,889 per annum, dependent on experience.

Job Description

As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for working with patients who require complex psychological interventions. You will have a deep understanding of psychological principles and theories, and be able to apply these in a clinical setting. Your expertise will enable you to work effectively with individuals, groups, and families to promote positive change and improve mental health outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Post-graduate Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) as accredited by the British Psychological Society
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Clinical supervision training for supervising Doctoral trainees

In addition, you should have:

  • Substantial assessed experience of working as a qualified and senior clinical psychologist, normally including significant post-qualification experience within the designated speciality
  • Assessed experience of working effectively as a qualified and senior level clinical psychologist in the designated speciality
  • Demonstration of further specialist training/experience through having received extensive and demonstrable clinical supervision of working as a specialist Clinical Psychologist
