Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our community psychiatry service, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in adult mental health care. With a strong focus on collaborative working, this role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical supervision and support to junior medical staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care
• Collaborate with Acute Care Services and Primary Mental Health Services to develop and implement effective treatment plans
• Maintain professional registration with the General Medical Council and comply with relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act 1983 and the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010
Requirements:
• MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
• Evidence of training in core and specialist competencies for community psychiatry
• Experience of community psychiatric practice
