Job Description:

As a Specialist Speech & Language Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive speech and language therapy assessments and interventions for adults with learning disabilities. This position requires a deep understanding of current best practices in SLT and mental health.

You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of our service users. Your expertise in evidence-based practice and its application to governance will be invaluable in this role.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with diverse groups of people, including those with barriers to understanding.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • State registration with HCPC
  • Member of the RCSLT
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
