Advanced Audiology Specialist

About the RoleThis is a fantastic chance to work as part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive audiological services to patients across three hospital sites. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic assessments, fitting hearing aids, and providing rehabilitation services to individuals with hearing impairments.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of audiological principles, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Experience in hearing aid fitting and paediatric audiology would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting diagnostic assessments and implementing treatment plans for patients with hearing impairments
- Fitting and dispensing hearing aids, including cochlear implants and bone-anchored hearing aids
- Providing rehabilitation services to improve speech and language development in children and adults
- Collaborating with ENT consultants, audiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- BSc (Hons) Audiology or equivalent qualification
- Membership of BAAT or BSA, or willingness to obtain membership within a specified timeframe
- Experience in hearing aid fitting and paediatric audiology desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
We offer a competitive salary of £45,753 - £53,668 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits such as annual leave, pension scheme, and access to training and development opportunities.
